AN OLD SOLDIER'S THOUGHTS

Just a short post today: I really, really want Christie Clark to take over the Liberal Party of Canada.

She is NOT ‘Just like Justin.’ In fact she is a horse of another colour entirely and despite being a sometime Liberal and a sometime (provincial) Conservative – remember it’s BC so everything is different’

But she is a good fit for the Trudeau Liberals and the Laurentian Elite crowd from Toronto and Montreal: dishonest and full of herself.

But, on a more serious note: Canada needs two ‘liberal’ parties. Liberal means that one believes that ALL rights belong to each and every sovereign individual and that governments have only duties which includes upholding those rights. 

We, individuals, surrender some ‘rights’ for the common good – we all agree, for example, to drive on one side of the road because it makes sense. Web do not agree to allow governments, like the Trudeau Liberals to violate our fundamental rights (Life, Liberty, Privacy (the right to be left alone)  and Property) on their whim.
